A: Hi Darryl! A 32 H&R Magnum revolver can also safely fire 32 S&W (aka 32 S&W Short) and 32 S&W Long cartridges.

A: Hi David. I would need a bit more info on the particular rifle. Over the years there have been a couple chambered for the .32 SW Long round. It is possible that your "old" gun is actually a .30 WCF better known as the .32/20 caliber. There were a ton of these "rabbit" guns out there and it is not uncommon to find them at local gun shows very reasonably priced. If you would like to give me a call at 800-317-9506 and ask for Ross, I will be glad to help you make a positive ID.

A: The .32 Long Colt has a healed bullet. The case will be slightly smaller in diameter than the .32 S&W Long. The .32 S&W will not fully chamber in a revolver chambered for the .32 Long Colt.
