New for 2017, Federal Non-Typical Whitetail ammo is specially optimized for taking down large bucks. This .308 Winchester ammo is built around a purpose built soft point bullet that expands for maximum lethality against deer. The soft point expands without fragmenting, securing the kill without causing damage to meat or trophies.

Each cartridge in this box of 20 fires a heavy 180-grain soft point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,570 feet per second. The high weight of the bullet provides strong penetration, a key component of taking down bigger specimens quickly and cleanly. Expect dependable long range performance, excellent accuracy, and consistent (though not particularly flat) trajectories.

Federal Non-Typical ammunition is loaded in Anoka, Minnesota, using non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass casings.
