This round’s 180 grain Core-Lokt Tipped bullet ends in a big green polymer tip. It makes the bullet far more aerodynamic, which complements its concentric copper jacket, boat tail, relatively heavy weight and rearward center of gravity. All these features combined grant the bullet a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.480. You can count on so sleek and balanced a bullet to stay supersonic until around 1,090 yards.
The Core-Lokt Tipped bullet’s polymer tip extends a long shaft into its nose cavity. On impact the tip accumulates lots of kinetic energy until finally plowing into the base of the nose cavity. And since the bullet’s jacket is mechanically anchored into its lead core, it retains its weight and penetrates deeply while producing devastatingly wide terminal expansion.
This round’s flat-shooting and deadly bullet is seated in Remington’s finest polished brass case, with a matched primer and powder beneath it to ensure surefire ignition. You better believe it’s made in America!
