Want to take the deafening report out of your target practice – without sacrificing accuracy? Atomic’s Match Subsonic line of ammunition is made for you!

This 308 Win cartridge is armed with a 175 grain Sierra MatchKing projectile. It’s a match hollow point boat tail with a wafer thin and super concentric jacket, evenly distributed form-fitted lead core, and sloping base that enhances its ballistic efficiency. Competitive shooters win trophies with MatchKings all the time. (But it is not a hunting bullet and doesn’t expand following impact.)

This round launches its MatchKing at a low and slow muzzle velocity of 1,050 fps. That’s not going to break the sound barrier, so it’s quieter than most 22 LR cartridges, produces next to zero recoil, and delivers power comparable to the 40 S&W. With a 1:11 or faster barrel twist, it offers spot-on accuracy at ranges beyond 100 yards!

This ammo generates relatively little kick and muzzle flash. That’s perfect for hunting varmints at night or training younger shooters. This ammo’s limited range also makes it safer to fire where overtravel is a concern – but as always, make sure of your target and anything that lies beyond it.

Atomic Ammunition is headquartered and manufactures all of their fine cartridges in Phoenix, Arizona. They use premium reloadable brass cases, non-corrosive primers and low-fouling propellant.
