The open tip is not a hunting bullet – it will not expand after impact, which makes its terminal ballistics far from ideal for taking medium game. (It’ll still kill a varmint no sweat.) The bullet’s very small nose cavity only exists because liquid lead was injected through it to create a uniformly distributed core. The rotationally stable bullet also features a sleek profile, concentric jacket, flat base, and consistent 168 grain weight. Once the projectile hits 2,680 fps, its 0.332 G1 ballistic coefficient will keep it supersonic until approximately 770 yards.
