Its core lead core is swaged for uniformity and balance, and its secant ogive profile produces very little drag for a flattened trajectory. This bullet further offers a boat tail design that has been optimized for its caliber, enabling it to exhibit greater velocity downrange and better resist the straying effects of crosswinds. Finally, the ELD Match’s Heat Shield tip is immune to the effects of aerodynamic heating so as to prevent its meplat from deforming and turning it aside in flight.
