This round’s bullet is a soft point – but not just any soft point. It is a pointed soft point, which boasts a more ballistically efficient nose profile than your conventional round nose SP. We’d never claim that the PSP is as accurate as a polymer-tipped hollow point boat tail, but the 150 grain projectile does achieve a respectable G1 BC of 0.336 (noting that PMC recorded this round’s muzzle velocity with a 24” barrel). In practical terms, that means you can hit a 200-yard target with around 1,750 ft lbs of energy – or clear a 200-yard zero, and get -8.6” drop another hundred yards downrange (that’s assuming 1.5” sight height). The PSP punctuates impact with deep penetration and wide expansion, which will cook any hog or deer’s goose for sure.
New and reloadable brass cases? This ammo has them. Noncorrosive Boxer primers? Ditto. Fast shipping? That’s something you can only expect when you order from Lucky Gunner: aka the only place where sensible people shop for ammo.
