The 308 Winchester – it’s a whole lot of cartridge, and that’s exactly the way we like it. This range and target ammunition is made by Ammo Inc., which has one factory in their home state of Arizona and another in snowy Wisconsin. It is everything you need to crank your quest to fine-tune your marksmanship up to 11.

This cartridge is loaded with a 150 grain bullet, and accordingly has a muzzle velocity of 2,980 fps. (Based on the manufacturer’s ballistic data, we estimate its G1 ballistic coefficient to be 0.406.) The bullet is a full metal jacket, and a nonmagnetic one at that thanks to its nonferrous lead core and copper jacket.

This ammo is brass-cased, Boxer-primed, and a surefire selection if handloading is on your mind. Ammo Inc.’s own Hyperclean Technology promotes fuller combustion of propellant to minimize residue buildup.

Q: Which ammunition would you recommend for my standard $1000 ar10? This, or pmc? (500 rounds).

A: Thanks for reaching out Scott! Given a choice I'd always go with PMC. Not to diminish Armscor, they make fine products, but for my money PMC just treats my own firearms a little bit better and I have zero complaints when it comes to their 308.

Q: Is this 1st time loads or reloads? Have read conflicting information about this brand. Thanks
