A: This is without question one of the better choices of 308 for the kind of hunting you have in mind. Hogs are tough; copper is tougher! For that reason I'm also confident recommending the Hornady Outfitter 308 we have in stock (which has a heavier GMX bullet):

I'm also really fond of Speer Gold Dot for hog hunting. The bonded bullet has zero trouble tackling a pig's dense hide, and its terminal expansion is outstandingly reliable:

A: Yes sir, the GMX is 100 percent copper alloy with a polymer tip. There's no lead to be found in the GMX!
