A: Thanks for reaching out Jason! I cannot confirm whether or not these rounds have crimped primers at this time, but by "sealed" I only mean that they have a thin layer of material around their primers to help keep water from infiltrating into the powder.

A: Great question Patrick! Boxer primers can be corrosive too. We're used to seeing Russian surplus with corrosive Berdan primers, but there's nothing inherently corrosive about the Berdan design – it depends entirely on which chemicals are used to create the priming compound. I confess to not know very much about Canadian military ammo from the 1940s, but for whatever reason our friends up north did indeed load corrosive Boxer primers back then!
