If you want out-of-the-box precision for your 300 NM rifle, then man, are you ever going to get what you bargained for when you order this ammo. It’s Norma’s most accurate version of the long-range cartridge they created!
This cartridge’s bullet is the Berger Hybrid Target: a 230 grain hollow point boat tail with a combination tangent and secant ogive profile that promotes ideal alignment with the rifling before it secures impressively low-drag performance. The Hybrid Target’s J4 Precision jacket and highly standardized lead core both give it phenomenal rotational stability, and its angled base does even more to decrease drag. It all flows together to give the bullet a 0.367 G7 (0.743 G1) ballistic coefficient. If your crosshairs are 3” above the bore line, then the bullet’s 500-yard trajectory shouldn’t rise higher than 14”.
The Hybrid Target is not intended for hunting, as it is not designed for terminal expansion or very deep penetration. This ammo’s American-made bullets are loaded in Sweden with match-grade reloadable brass cases.
