The 300 Holland & Holland Magnum – one of the most capable hunting cartridges ever devised, and suitable for safari hunting so long as you’re not setting your sights on especially large and dangerous game (in other words, not your best bet for Babar). HSM loads this classic belted round with the Hunting VLD by Berger so you can pin down any North American game you happen across.

The 185 grain Hunting VLD features a secant ogive profile, boat tail, and jacket that is drawn to a concentricity standard of ±0.0003” (the same as Sierra’s world-famous MatchKing). Unlike a typical hollow point boat tail, the VLD’s J4 Precision Jacket is built to deliver terminal expansion. Once the VLD has penetrated to a depth between 2 and 3”, it undergoes massive terminal expansion to inflict a truly crippling wound cavity. Outstanding accuracy and commanding terminal performance – smashing!

Berger bullets are made in Arizona. HSM loads the fine projectiles at the Campbell family’s factory in Montana, complete with new and reusable brass cases and perfectly attuned Boxer primers. Berger recommends a minimum twist of 1:8" for this bullet.
