This round’s bullet is ultra light: a miniscule 96 grains, which is less than half the weight of a subsonic load. Intuitively, this makes its muzzle velocity more than twice as fast. A run-of-the-mill 220 grain bullet has a muzzle energy of around 500 ft lbs; roughly equivalent to a 9mm. But this speed demon? Its bullet comes out of the muzzle with over 1,300 ft lbs of energy, similar to a 223 Rem.
The bullet’s design only increases its potency for defense. The all-copper, lead-free projectile has the durability which assures clean barrier penetration, as well as a hollow point nose cavity which maximizes hydrostatic shock to the target. If the target has internal organs, they will truly be in rough shape.
You’ll be surprised by how light this 20-round box of ammo feels. We know you can lift way more weight than that, which is why you should order multiple boxes.
