We’re not afraid of rolling up our sleeves and getting to work. But why work any more than we absolutely have to when there’s better things to do like beer and TV?

This logic carries over to suppressors as well. If you’ve got a can on the end of our AR-15, then there’s no reason to ask it to work any harder than it has to. That’s why you ought to be firing Corbon’s subsonic 300 AAC Blackout ammo, which has heavy 220 grain bullets to tamp its muzzle velocity down to a mere 1,040 fps. Your suppressor can muffle this ammo’s subtler report down to a veritable “pfft.”

This round’s bullet trajectory is naturally a little steep with so low a muzzle velocity, but it still offers good accuracy courtesy of its boat tail bullet. That feature reduces drag to keep the bullet flying faster as it works its way farther and farther downrange. The bullet’s full metal jacket is concentric to promote even better accuracy, although that cost-efficient design does prevent terminal expansion.

Corbon loads brass-cased, noncorrosive, and nonmagnetic ammo in the great state of Ohio. You’ll be satisfied with their fine workmanship even if you’re firing unsuppressed!
