Nosler doesn’t make their Match Grade ammunition for shooters who mess around. Every aspect of this 300 AAC Blackout cartridge has been scrutinized and picked over to ensure one thing: accuracy good enough to prune the leaves off a strawberry.

This round’s bullet is a big boy at 220 grains, which brakes its muzzle velocity down to 1,020 fps. Its trajectory may not be the flattest a 300 AAC Blackout is capable of delivering, but without a supersonic round’s cracking report it’s an excellent choice for a suppressed firearm.

The bullet itself is a Custom Competition, which Nosler produces with a special set of machinery to ensure absolute uniformity and consistency. The Custom Competition is a hollow point boat tail, with a narrow meplat, lead core which totally conforms to its concentric jacket, and drag-reducing boat tail. So ballistically efficient a bullet still keeps 86 percent of its initial velocity at 600 yards!

Nosler pays as much attention to their Match Grade ammo’s brass cases as they do their bullets, checking each for consistency in length, neck size, and chamfering. Each non-corrosive round is hand inspected and polished before it’s boxed up and delivered to a discerning sniper like you.
