Q: What is the barrel length used for the velocity test? What is expected velocity from 8" barrel?

A: Thanks for reaching out Kent! Sellier & Bellot recorded this ammo's muzzle velocity with a 16" test barrel. I cannot give you an exact estimate, I'm afraid, but I'd reasonably expect this ammo to give you a 1,850–1,950 fps muzzle velocity with a 8" barrel.

Q: Is this round a 300 win mag ?

A: No sir, 300 AAC Blackout is an altogether different cartridge and will not work in a 300 Win Mag rifle. I regret that we haven't presently got any 300 Win Mag in stock, but our inventory updates constantly. I hope you'll check back in again soon!

Q: I can't find FPS or Ft lbs. I can't buy ammo without knowing this detail.

A: Hello Steve! According to Sellier and Bellot, this round has a muzzle velocity of 2076 fps with a muzzle energy of 1406 ft. lbs.
