This 300 AAC Blackout cartridge will let you put a lot of that land between you and your target. It’s a sharpshooter’s round, equipped with Hornady’s very own 125 grain Match HP projectile. Now, be sure to appreciate that this isn’t a specialized hunting or self-defense bullet before you order this ammo – the Match HP’s nose cavity isn’t designed to deliver terminal expansion, but instead exists because the bullet’s core formed in place within the jacket. That means it is extremely well-balanced, and also that its jacketed base makes its ballistic performance all the more consistent.
The Match HP’s tack driving accuracy is further assured by its highly concentric AMP jacket, its uniformly distributed swaged lead core, its ballistically efficient secant ogive profile, and finally its boat tail that decreases in-flight drag to keep downrange velocities faster.
This round’s match bullet is seated in a virgin brass shell casing, precisely drawn and supple for ongoing reloadability. Hornady’s own uniform propellant charges and primers work to make all 50 rounds in this box behave interchangeably from one another.
