A: Hi Vlad. Thanks for looking to LuckyGunner.com for your ammo needs. Those 125 grain rounds will work for self-defense. Personally, with the significant velocity loss from the short pistol length barrel, I would opt for a heavier round for better penetration, but that is strictly a personal preference. In the end, either one will do the job. Let me know if I can get you some .300 BO ammo on the way today! Ross

A: Hi Tom. Of course, shot placement is crucial when using a light bullet on pigs, but the Hornady HPs at over 2100 ft/sec make them potent hog medicine!

A: I'm assuming that you mean between .300 AAC and .300 blackout. These are the same cartridge, they are just referred to by different names(.300 AAC/ .300BLK).
If you're referring to .300 Winchester Magnum, .300 Holland & Holland, etc., they are the same .30 caliber projectile but the case dimensions are configured to produce different results.
