A: Thanks for reaching out, Zach! This round's open tip bullet emphasizes accuracy more than it does penetration or expanding terminal performance. For soft skinned varmints like the coyote I'd imagine it would have no problem. For hogs I think you'd be better off with a more specialized hunting bullet – we currently have TTSX by Black Hills in stock that should work very well: luckygunner.com/300-aac-blackout-110-grain-ttsx-black-hills-20-rounds. As for 300 Blackout V-MAX, we are out of stock on that at the moment, but we're working hard every day to bring in new product during the pandemic scare and hope to get more in shortly. The listed muzzle velocity of this round from a standard 16" barrel is 2,200 fps with a muzzle energy of 1,292 ft. lbs out of the same length test barrel.
