A: Good Question, The M1 Garand 30.06 ammo is designed to meet the specific pressure requirements for the M1 Garand. It has a lower pressure than standard 30.06 rounds which keeps the M1 Garand's gas system functioning properly. I would suggest checking the manufacurer's specs for your rifle to see if there are any specific ammo requirements.

A: Hi Jon. This is commercial ammo loaded to the M1 Garand specs. You will receive 20 boxes of 20 rounds each, packed in a commercial cardboard carton.

A: This is because the round you are looking at is a round that is loaded to the military specs for the M1 Garand rifle. The military refers to the non-expanding FMJ (full metal jacketed) rounds as "ball" ammo. This round will be the same type of projectile as any FMJ or MC round, that is a lead core covered with a copper jacketing.

A: Hi James, Great Question! This M1 Garand ammo contains zero steel in its construction and is not attracted to a magnet. If features a standard brass jacket with a lead core.

A: Its just a run of the mill 150gr bullet. Nothing special. To my knowledge S&B hasn't produced this for quite some time. We don't have that information either unfortunately. I do not know if its the same product or not, but the still have a 150gr FMJ round.
