The 180 grain Scirocco Bonded is replete with accuracy-enhancing features, which include Swift’s Signature Black Tip, secant ogive profile jacket, long driving band which optimizes gyroscopic stability, and thick, deformation resistant boat tail. This is a 0.500 G1 ballistic coefficient bullet, with a 400-yard trajectory that climaxes at 12.75” and the ability to transfer at least 1,000 ft lbs of kinetic energy to its target at approximately 715 yards.
The base of the Scirocco Bonded’s tip rests in the hollow of a precision formed nose cavity. The tip begins peeling the tapered copper jacket away during impact and proceeds to unleash truly devastating terminal expansion throughout penetration. The core and jacket are tightly fused together, and therefore succeed at retaining at least 75% of the bullet’s total weight no matter the velocity at impact. It’s the potent one-two wide expansion/deep penetration combo that’ll knock a buck’s block off!
Remington seats Swift’s Kansas-made bullets in fine reloadable brass cases with noncorrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning propellant.
