Whether you're pushing a rack grade rifle or an untouched M1 Garand certified by the CMP, this ammunition from Hornady's new Vintage Match selection will help you achieve the greatest accuracy imaginable in a competitive setting. This precision made possible by mating new technology to traditional, proven components with Hornady's ELD (extremely low drag) Match projectile. ELD Match bullets combine AMP jackets of uniform dimensions with Heat Shield meplats (tips) which are made of a proprietary polymer material that resists melting at high speeds. As a result, this ammunition minimal deviation in flight and produces frighteningly tight groups. Each projectile weighs in at 168 grains which is a common weight for numerous .30 inch diameter loads used in long-range precision roles.

Hornady's Vintage Match ammunition is made expressly for use in the M1 Garand and M1903 Springfield at events like NRA High Power Rifle matches. As such, these rounds utilize superb components for maximum reliability and dependable operation. These parts include clean-igniting Boxer primers, wholly consuming propellant, and reloadable brass casings. Hornady was founded in 1949 and has since been recognized for unique projectile designs which exhibit remarkable performance. Their finished ammunition lineups like Vintage Match allows shooters to skip custom hand loads and obtain premium ammunition in an off-the-shelf capacity.
