A: Good to hear from you Chuck! I cannot guarantee anything for certain when I haven't tested this ammo in a M700 myself, but there's nothing about this ammo that indicates it should fail to function correctly in your 30-06 rifle. I would personally buy this ammo expecting solid performance with a 30-06 M700. I don't know if you're familiar with corrosive ammunition, but just in case you aren't I'd recommend reading up on it before you order this ammo – or at least before you decide to fire it!

A: Thanks for reaching out! I do not believe this ammo would damage an M1 Garand. It is highly unlikely that a Romanian manufacturer would have loaded 30-06 with any other rifle in mind. That said, I make a rule of never recommending 30-06 for an M1 Garand unless it is explicitly loaded to that rifle's exact specifications. I wouldn't take chances with anyone's firearms – least of all their M1 Garand.

A: Thanks for reaching out Jayson! The ammo is not damaged – it's just older Berdan-primed ammo, which means that its primers will deposit hygroscopic salts inside the firearm when they are ignited. Hygroscopic salts attract and retain atmospheric moisture; in other words, if hygroscopic salts are allowed to remain inside the firearm, they will cause it to rust. It is necessary to take additional steps cleaning a firearm after it has fired corrosive ammo. You may learn more about proper cleaning methods elsewhere, but the most popular among them are (A) hot and soapy water, (B) Ballistol solution and (C) Windex.

A: Yes sir! In New York we just can't ship to Buffalo, Rochester and the city, and we can only ship to FFL dealers for our customers to pick up in person. You can get the full run-down on our service to NY here:

A: Thanks for the kind words sir! I believe we're on the same page here. Unfortunately the ammo cans' wooden crating adds too much weight and volume to an order for us to ship it economically. Should you order two tins of this Romanian 30-06, then please only expect to receive the tins themselves in the mail.

A: Thanks for reaching out Clint! I wish that were the case, but in order to streamline our shipping protocol we do not include the wooden crate with orders of two ammo cans.
