The M1 Garand’s gas system is attuned to function correctly with Ball M2 ammunition. The M1 Garand’s sights are calibrated specifically to the ballistics of the Ball M2 round. If you’re fortunate enough to own a piece of American history, and you’re taking it to the range, why give it anything less than the ammo it is specifically designed to fire?

This 30-06 Springfield cartridge from Winchester’s Service Grade line of ammunition is loaded to Ball M2 specifications for optimal functionality in your M1 Garand. Its bullet does weigh 150 grains instead of 152, but its chamber pressure falls soundly within the confines of what the Garand most prefers firing. Ball M2 ammo actually produces a lighter chamber pressure than the modern era’s commercial 30-06 ammo, making these 20 rounds compatible with all other 30-06 rifles as well.

Winchester’s Service Grade ammunition is loaded in new production brass cases, ideal for loading whatever type of ammo you care to after you’ve freed them up at the range. These historically accurate rounds have modern Boxer primers that don’t demand you clean your rifle a certain way to prevent rusting.
