If it’s not currently deer season, then it’s time to get ready for deer season. Your 30-06 rifle deserves only the best if you’re counting on it to secure this year’s supply of venison, so give it exactly that courtesy of Winchester’s Deer Season XP Copper Impact line of ammunition!

This round features Winchester’s 150 grain Copper Extreme Point bullet. An Extreme Point’s defining feature is its giant polymer tip, which takes up nearly half of the bullet’s frontal surface area to streamline it for accurate flight. The tip has a huge base as well, which accelerates terminal expansion as it wedges deep into the bullet’s nose cavity.

This bullet is quite naturally made of copper, so it shoots clean, is pretty much incapable of fragmenting as it plunges deeply into tough game, and is furthermore exceptionally well-balanced to promote superior accuracy. The Copper Extreme Point is also equipped with a boat tail, which reduces drag to keep the bullet flying faster and straighter hundreds of yards away.

Winchester fits their lead-free polymer tipped hunting bullet into a new production brass case, with the dependable primer and low residue propellant one should expect from a preeminent American ammo manufacturer.
