You’re looking at the very first line of 277 Fury ammunition Lucky Gunner has ever stocked! And we got off on the right foot, because SIG Sauer is the very same company which designed the 277 Fury. They know how to make their own ammo – and you sure know how to fire it!
SIG may have designed the 277 Fury for the U.S. Army’s Next Generation Squad Weapon Program, but this particular ammo is meant for a more peaceful purpose: deer huntin’. Once its 130 grain soft point projectile achieves its posted muzzle velocity of 2,710 fps, it proceeds to exhibit a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.409. Aim to 200 yards and the bullet’s trajectory will peak at 2.13” (assuming 1.5” sight height); expect -8.74” drop at 300 yards afterward.
This round’s bullet is also ballistically efficient enough to retain at least 1,000 ft lbs of energy within a range of 423 yards. The tough soft point enters deeply into its target thanks to its ability to avert excessive fragmentation, and it is also designed to cripple its target with massive terminal expansion.
This ammo features SIG’s new reloadable brass cases. Get your hands on some 7.06 mm projectiles and you’ll be all set to make your own 277 Fury loads at your reloading station!
