We love the 25 ACP. Its recoil is barely anything to speak of, and it is especially helpful if you’re ever forced to defend yourself against a particularly aggressive species of mice. If you’re a 25 Auto kind of guy or gal, then Winchester’s American-made range loads will never do you dirty!

Winchester has developed some pretty interesting types of bullets over the years, with innovative features that greatly enhance accuracy and terminal ballistics. This cartridge does not have such a bullet. Its 50 grain full metal jacket is the simplest kind of projectile that could exit a semi-automatic pistol’s muzzle. That’s not to say this round’s FMJ is “bad” by any standard, of course. Its lead core and copper-alloy jacket leave it wholly incapable of attracting a magnet, and its uniform weight and dimensions promise consistent performance out of any little handgun.

Noncorrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning bang-bang dust, as always, as well as new and reloadable brass cases. Reloading 25 ACP is tricky unless you have the hands of a toddler and the patience of a chess grandmaster, but it can be done!
