This cartridge is loaded with a specialist of a bullet. It is the V-MAX, and all it wants to do is snip varmints and predators clean out of existence. It’s aerodynamic, with a large bearing surface, polymer tip, swaged lead core, and AMP jacket that all contribute toward its higher 0.330 G1 ballistic coefficient. Two-hundred yard zero: 998 ft lbs striking energy at zero, -7.45” drop at 300.
The V-MAX’s red tip is a sort of self-destruct button. Collision with a critter rockets that rigid polymer tip deep inside the V-MAX’s lead core, which it then blows to smithereens in a rodent-exploding display of terminal fragmentation.
American Quality Ammunition has been hard at it since 1981. Same year as Reagan inauguration. Also same year that [fast food restaurant with “Mc” in name] introduced "Chicken 'n Chips." Good year. AQA loads these gopher-upsetters in the USA with new and reloadable brass.
