Not a cop? Not a problem. Federal may produce their Tactical TRU series 223 Rem ammo for law enforcement officers’ AR-15 and M-16 firearms, but there is zero reason why an average Joe can’t also enjoy this ammo’s excellent accuracy at the range.

This ammo is intended for long-distance shooting, hence its highly accurate 69 grain MatchKing hollow point boat tail projectiles. The MatchKing is not a self-defense or hunting bullet; it cannot deliver terminal expansion, which is why we strictly advise it for target shooting.

The MatchKing features the boat tail, thin and evenly thick jacket, and form-fitted lead core it needs to deliver peerless precision. Its heavy weight also gives the bullet greater immunity to the straying effects of cross winds. Once the 0.154 G7 projectile attains its posted muzzle velocity of 2,950 fps, it’s due to drop -8” a hundred yards downrange of a 200-yard zero (assuming the shooter’s scope is centered up 1.5”).

This military quality ammo is loaded with reusable brass, dependable primers, and flash-suppressed propellant. That last feature is of especial importance if you intend to fire this ammo outside of daylight hours!
