We’ll let you in on a little secret: We’ve been saving this case of Sierra’s Prairie Enemy ammo for someone who is especially cool and attractive. That’s why we’re glad you’re finally here!

This 223 Rem cartridge doesn’t just offer pinpoint accuracy to help you make short work of varmints and predators. It also backs up such precision with simply explosive terminal performance! And it pulls this one-two combo off because it is loaded with Sierra’s 69 grain BlitzKing projectile.

Just like the MatchKing, the bullet that has won more target competitions than all others combined, the BlitzKing features an extremely thin copper alloy jacket with virtually zero deviation in its concentricity. Along with its boat tail and rotationally stable voidless core, the BlitzKing holds an extremely consistent trajectory. When loaded to a muzzle velocity of 2,950 fps this tack driver boasts an impressive 0.179 G7 ballistic coefficient!

The BlitzKing differs from the MatchKing in that it has a hard, sharp polymer tip. In addition to standardizing the bullet’s profile, that spike of proprietary acetyl resin initiates massive fragmentation starting with the instant of impact. As the BlitzKing’s thin jacket and core rupture like a hand grenade, there is little hope for the chuck or coyote that caught it.

Sierra loads their Prairie Enemy cartridges with factory fresh brass cases, each highly uniform in dimensions to support smooth feeding, chambering, and extraction in a semi-auto like the AR-15. Alongside its sensitive primer and uniform propellant charge, this is a round that truly delivers the same goods every time you pull the trigger!
