This 233 Rem cartridge is loaded with a 62 grain full metal jacket projectile that will deliver ballistic performance which is virtually indistinguishable from that of an M855 load. But because it lacks a steel penetrator core, and because its jacket is made of gilding metal and its core is made of lead, it will not attract a magnet!

This American-made cartridge’s FMJ is loaded to achieve a muzzle velocity of 2,963 fps, which is pretty much apples-to-apples to what an M855 round will do. Its sharp nose profile and hard, concentric copper-alloy jacket promote smooth feeding and consistent accuracy, but they will not supply terminal expansion. Armscor’s ammunition is noncorrosive and Boxer-primed,. Its brand new polished brass cases make it a swell selection for handloading.
