This cartridge is loaded with the Controlled Chaos. It’s a solid copper hollow point by Lehigh Defense that doesn’t expand conventionally after impact. Instead, it bursts apart into multiple fragments shortly after striking its target. The Controlled Chaos releases a massive energy spike at the instant of fracture, and then proceeds to create multiple smaller wound channels. It’s a good choice of bullet if you’re hunting for fur and want to avoid making an exit wound. It’s also a good choice for defense if you’re taking every reasonable measure to avoid over-penetration.
Underwood’s high-quality American-made ammo always offers a couple key performance-enhancing features: low-flash propellant that conserves the shooter’s night vision, and nickel-plated brass cases that promote more reliable functioning in a semi-automatic.
