This cartridge is loaded with a bonded pointed soft point projectile. Its copper jacket and lead core are welded together, which gives the bullet added fortitude that it uses for deep penetration. In other words, bonding increases the odds of a well-placed shot reaching the quarry’s lung. That’s a great advantage to have when you’re hunting with the relatively weak 223 Rem!
The PSP projectile isn’t just designed for terminal expansion. It is also a touch heavier than normal at 62 grains, which alongside its aerodynamic profile promotes higher downrange striking energy. Hitting harder is never a bad thing!
Armscor is a Philippine company, although their USA series ammo is appropriately made in America. It has brass cases. It has noncorrosive Boxer primers. It has our seal of approval – and it will also have yours as soon as you’ve squeezed off a few shots.
