This isn’t American-made ammo, but PMC sure does some mighty fine work at their factories in Angang and Dongrae, South Korea. Many shooters swear by this stuff, as it boasts the uniform external dimensions and carefully standardized components requisite for reliable cycling and clockwork accuracy.
This round’s bullet weighs 55 grains and zips out of a 24” barrel at a velocity of 3,200 fps – perfectly familiar ballistic performance if you’re already accustomed to the fine art of 223 Remmery. The bullet is a pointed soft point, with a sleek frontal profile like an FMJ albeit a tip that isn’t jacketed. Once the PSP’s soft lead core encounters resistance from soft tissue, it spreads outward to inflict widespread damage. You’ll still want to keep it within 100 to 150 yards if you’re gunning for whitetail, but proper shot placement is sure to get the job done.
Is this ammo decked out with new and reloadable brass cases? Let’s put it this way: does Lucky Gunner have the fastest shipping on earth? (We do!)
