When you have an AR, it’s always shooting season.
Winchester 223 Rem is all that you need
To start pulverizing targets with precision and speed.
This ammo is made in the best country of all – the United States, obviously. It is loaded to the same specs as our Army’s standard M193 cartridge, complete with a full metal jacket that achieves a steady 3,240 fps muzzle velocity thanks to its carefully standardized weight (Winchester recorded that MV with a 20” barrel). Aim to 200 yards with 1.5” high sights, and drop at 300 yards ought to be around -7”. A great demonstration of the flat trajectory which made the 223 so popular.
Winchester’s white box target loads feature noncorrosive Boxer primers, nonmagnetic FMJ bullets, and brand new reloadable brass cases. The cases were annealed at the factory, which gave their necks the elasticity they need to seal the chamber during ignition without splitting. The cases weren’t polished after they were annealed, but make no mistake: they are brand new and reloadable.
