The 22 WMR cartridge was introduced by Winchester in 1959 and continues to be respected as a leading manufacturer in the 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire cartridge. This ammo exits the muzzle at 1910 fps and has a very straight trajectory ideally suited for varmint and small game hunting.

The jacketed hollow-point bullet is designed for rapid expansion on impact. Even if you do not need a hollow-point bullet, this product is an economical and reliable for target ammunition.

Winchester began offering its quality product in 1873 and has been providing the citizens and military of the United States with the same standard of quality ever since.

My first experience with this ammo was as a boy at my uncle's ranch. After zeroing the scope I proceeded putting holes in cans and ground squirrels. My uncle tasked me with putting down an old sheep, I aimed at the base of its skull at about 60yds., at the shot the sheep dropped like it’s brain had been turned off. It hit the ground so hard it made dust. I can still see the quarter sized exit hole. Accurate and deadly.

Sub MOA at 100yds, and if I hold on top of pop can at 200yds I'll hit the can. That's with my Winchester mod. 9422mag. and scope

This is by far the most accurate 22 mag ammo I have tried. It shoots sub 1 inch groups at 100 yards out of my Marlin 25MN. I've used this rounds on everything from squirrels to coyotes. Head shots on squirrels if you want enough left to eat. Just a good all around hunting round.

This is by far one of the more accurate rounds that you can guy. This has been a great round for hunting. If you own a Marlin with Microgroove, the bullet from this cartridge is the right weight and balance for you.

Q: Will this work in Bond Arms Stinger 22 LR Mag?

A: Thanks for reaching out Bill! There is no such cartridge as "22 LR Mag" – only two different cartridges, i.e. 22 LR and 22 Mag. If your Bond Arms Stinger is chambered for 22 LR, then it can only fire 22 LR ammo. If it is chambered for 22 WMR (aka 22 Mag), then it can only fire 22 WMR ammo. The 22 WMR cartridge is over 1/3" longer than the 22 LR cartridge, and it is loaded to a significantly higher pressure as well. Even if you could fire a 22 WMR cartridge in a 22 LR firearm, you would only succeed at destroying the firearm (and possibly injuring yourself while you're at it).

Q: will this ammo work in a S & W 2213 pistol?

A: Thanks for reaching out Tom! Even if 22 WMR could chamber in your M2213, it would only succeed at blowing your handgun up! You have to stick with 22 LR, but we have a lot of good options in stock.
