Q: I have a ruger 22 cal magnum revolver. What kind of bullets should I used

A: Hello Tony! Sounds like your revolver is chambered for 22 WMR, aka 22 Magnum. If that's the case then either of the rounds currently available here ought to function well in your handgun: luckygunner.com/rimfire/22-wmr-ammo. The CCI ammo is designed for varmint hunting, while the Aguila is more versatile. I regret that we havent got any FMJ ammo in stock, but you can certainly shoot targets with either of the hunting loads currently available!

Q: Can I use this ammo in my 22semi auto rifle?

A: Hi Michael. Thanks for looking to LuckyGunner.com for your ammo needs. As long as your rifle is marked for ".22 WMR" or ".22 Magnum", this ammo will work perfectly. Please keep in mind that most .22 semi autos are chambered for the more common .22 Long Rifle or .22 LR cartridge. In that case, these Hornadys will not work.
