A: Thanks for reaching out Lino! This is 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR) ammunition, which is also commonly known as 22 Magnum. Same ammo! This ammo's specifically designed for varmint hunting. True to its name, the TNT bullet delivers explosive fragmentation inside the quarry. The bullet is designed to expand immediately after impact – dramatic effect on small game, but penetration too shallow to reliably anchor a buck. The 22 Mag already has power limitations, so you'd need outstanding marksmanship to land a fast, lethal shot with it. It can be done, but not by many. Many states also ban rimfire and/or .22 cal ammo for deer hunting.

A: Thanks for reaching out Robert! NAA does not recommend using varmint ammunition made for long-range rifles in the 22MS. Higher-pressure 22 Magnum ammo such as this may cause the cases to swell inside a mini-revolver's cylinders, which can cause jamming or rotation interference. You may read more on page 7 of the manual if you wish: northamericanarms.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/22-Minis-Owners-Manual-3-22.pdf
Based on NAA's recommendations, I'm most confident recommending this ammo for your 22MS: luckygunner.com/22-wmr-40-grain-fmj-federal-champion-training-50-rounds

A: Thanks for reaching out James! This ammunition should function correctly in your PMR30. This fella may not have mastered the art of focusing a camera, but he did do the kindness of demonstrating how well this ammo runs through your pistol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8Cmjvkx-8o&ab_channel=NeanderthalOutdoors

A: Thanks for reaching out J! This is the 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR) cartridge, which is significantly bigger and more powerful than the 22 Long Rifle (LR). A handgun that is chambered for one round cannot fire the other. There are Ruger pistols chambered for 22 WMR, but since you are asking I strongly suspect that you own a 22 LR Ruger pistol. I own one myself, and I highly recommend CCI 22 LR ammo for it. You can see our selection in stock here: luckygunner.com/rimfire/22-lr-ammo?manufacturer=10
I recommend a CPRN bullet for target shooting, and a CPHP bullet for hunting.

A: Thanks for reaching out Gary! I cannot promise exactly when we'll get a certain type of ammunition back in stock, and neither can CCI. I regret that we don't have a system in place to alert our customers when ammo is back in stock. We do update our inventory very often, so I hope you'll check back in again soon!
