A: Hi Jeff! Nice little antique you got there. It's chambered for 22 LR. I don't know what condition the revolver is in, so I can't guarantee you a safe ammo recommendation. If it's in good shape, then it can safely fire standard velocity 22 LR. Even if it's not apparently in poor condition, then you may want to play it safe and only fire 22 Short. Sorry I can't be more certain without seeing the revolver!

A: Thanks for reaching out Glenn! If your revolver is chambered for 22 WRF, then it's compatible with 22 WRF, 22 Winchester Rimfire, and 22 Remington Special – those are all different names for the same exact cartridge.

A: Hi Peter! 22 WMR and 22 MRF are the same cartridge. 22 WRF is a different cartridge, though. 22 WRF can be fired in any firearm chambered for 22 WMR, but not vice versa. If the 22 WRF ammo's packaging says not to use it in a revolver, please don't.

A: No sir. The Winchester M1903 was exclusively chambered for 22 Winchester Automatic (22 Win Auto). It cannot fire 22 Winchester Rimfire (22 WRF). I regret that we haven't got any 22 Win Auto for you in stock right now, but our inventory does update constantly.

A: Hi James! It's okay to fire 22 WRF in a firearm chambered for 22 WMR in some circumstances. However, CCI does not recommend firing 22 WRF in any revolvers because its head diameter is significantly larger than that of the 22 WMR.

A: No sir, I'm afraid it won't. We have got a few good options for your Henry in stock though!

A: This round will work in your Remington Special chamber. It is called the Winchester Rim Fire as neither company wanted to put a competitors name on their product. The 22 WRF and 22 Remington Special are fully interchangeable.
