Varmint Hunting
This .22 WRF (not to be confused with .22 WMR or .22 LR) ammunition from CCI is an excellent way to put an old firearm back into action as a varmint gun. Each cartridge in this box of 50 fires a 45 grain jacketed hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,300 feet per second. The hollow point bullet is designed to fragment and expand quickly for a quick kill on squirrels, rabbits, and other small pest animals.
The .22 WRF maintains some limited compatibility with the more powerful .22 WMR; however, not all .22 WRF cartridges will cycle reliably in magazine-fed .22 WMR guns due to the shorter case length.
