SK’s Biathlon Sport line of 22 LR ammo is perfect for competing at the only Winter Olympic sport which requires a gun, but it’s also fine for target practice whenever you don’t happen to be wearing skis.

This round features a 40 grain lead round nose bullet, loaded to a muzzle velocity of 1,106 fps out of a 21.7” barrel. (Expect a significantly lower muzzle velocity out of a handgun.) This cartridge offers great accuracy to give biathletes a competitive advantage, as well as bolstered resistance to wind drift and very cold temperatures. The round is treated with a specially formulated lubricant to promote smoother chambering in frigid conditions!

SK is based in Germany, where they implement virgin brass and non-corrosive primers to make a huge selection of specialized and general purpose rimfire ammo.
