This is Rem’s “Standard V” series ammo: loaded with a lighter 38 grain bullet and subsonic 1,080 fps muzzle velocity. Its recoil is pretty agreeable (which isn’t to say the 22 LR’s kick is known for its tremendousness), and its ability to totally preempt transonic destabilization does a lot to promote better accuracy.
The bullet is the humblest object that could possibly pop out of a rifle’s or pistol’s barrel. The lead round nose doesn’t contain a lick of pricey copper, making it ideal for super-high-volume shootin’. The LRN won’t deliver any expansion, but so long as you’re gunning for the smallest types of critters it’s still plenty deadly enough to get the job done-de-done-done. One dozen boxes per behemoth case; each box is loose-packed.
