Nice bang for the buck-et! Good grouping in the revolver and rifle. a couple of stove-pipes in the S&W Victory, but the Victory seems to be partial to 40 gr. loads. No misfires.
If I could find this bucket in 40 gr. I'd buy it again and again.
Would get this again for the revolver.

So I bought a bucket exactly one year ago for $68 plus shipping for this very site. So while I'll be waiting for the price to be reasonable again, if you need to get your hands on good .22 ammo this is very good ammo. Out of my bucket I have about 400rds left and haven't had a single issue with failures to feed or fire.

They go bang when I pull the trigger on my SR-22. I've had 2 failures to fire. That's it so far after about 800 rounds. "

Also...people seriously need to chill about the price. Here's a pro tip - if you find it elsewhere for less money, then buy it. I'll keep my purchases here since I know if it's in stock or not and the customer service is excellent.

YES, The price is higher but having checked numerous other ammo sites and none have this ammo any cheaper. The sites showing lower prices are all out of stock!!! This is good quality ammo and has always run well in all my .22's.

Several reviews show complaints regarding the price and claim several online retailers are selling it cheaper. I can't find them so the reviews claiming they know sites that are lower in price and have it in stock should let everyone know where those great deals are!
Lucky Gunner is the best place I have found to buy ammo! Great Customer Service, fast deliver and product always comes well packaged and on time.

I see several people commenting on the price here. Yes, it is marked up a bit.
However if you search around you will find most if not all other websites and local stores are out of stock on this product by the bucket. I have dealt with Lucky Gunner for many years now and have NEVER been disappointed in their products!
Their Customer Service is beyond reproach and shipping is fast and product is always packed well and delivered very timely.
Fortunately I had planned for the current situation and was well stocked for the ammo shortage. I will follow the pricing and when the time is right or need is more urgent I will buy again from LUCKY GUNNER.

I use a Sig Sauer P226 with a conversion kit to .22 caliber. So far at least 1 to 2 out of 10 is a FTF (Failure To Fire). There is evidence of a strong firing pin strike on the round, but no fire. Plus 1 out of 20 is a FTE (Failure To Eject), due to the shell casing splitting down the side, from what sounded like a hot load (Louder than Normal Round). Also 1 in 15 is a FTL (Failure To Load) due to the prevous round being light on the load (Quieter Than Normal Round), and not sending the slide back far enough to pick up the next round. The rounds are also fairly dirty to the touch. When loading the magazines my fingers turn black after loading 15 to 20 magazines. I would recomend to others to use CCI rounds. They seam to be of a higher standard and more reliable. CCI Standard Velocity, CCI Mini-Mag, CCI ATR and CCI Signature all work great in my Sig 226 without all of the problems.

These 22 rounds a pretty good. I shoot them through my AR 15 conversion kit and these are the most accurate rounds I have tried yet. No misfires no failures to ejecteject after 500 rounds. They are a little dirty though: carbon and lead buildup.

this gets fired through a Sig 226 conversion which tends to be picky about what it eats. The golden bullet is satisfies it like CCI minimags but at a much lower price! 200 rounds, not FTF nor FTE. Unlike other stuff which jams 1 to 2 out of 10 rounds. My SIG "likes" the Golden Bullet and so do I. Low cost, consistent plinking!

More than five clips (10) rnds each and at least one in each clip had a sub sounding firing. It sounded soft compared to the rest in that clip. Shooting from a Ruger 10/22. Groups are not good. Use Winchester copper JHP, much better.

I recently bought a S&W M&P 15-22. The owner's manual specifically recommends against these rounds (and a few others), but I had already bought 1050 rounds of it , and was "stuck" with it. I went to the range tonight and fired about 200 rounds without a single problem (and that includes the fact that my 11 and 13 year olds were doing most of the shooting. No problems with this product at all.

I've just returned from the range after testing the remington golden bullet. As indicated above the quality, value and performance all rated 5 stars. there were no misfires, fail to feed or eject in the 500+ rounds tested. In the past Remington's reputation for rimfire cartridges wasn't always the best (read the S&W manual for the M&P15/22, you can get it at their website). I think this time Remington's finally got it right. Three rifles and one pistol were tested (Savage Anschuntz mk-10, Marlin 880 & S&W 15/22 for the pistol a Ruger 22/45). I was able to hold 1/2" groups at 25 & 50 yds (5 shot) with the Savage & Marlin ( bench rested) groups were slightly larger with the 15/22. The 22/45 grouped aprox 1 1/4" at 7yds, daylight was running short so I only tested at 7 yds for the pistol. Velocity for this cartridge is 1280FPS.The golden bullet was a pleasure to shoot....I would definitely purchase these bullets again. Two thumbs up!!

Q: I have a Kel Tec 9 mm Sub 2000 rifle with magazines interchangeable with a Glock pistol. I have shot primarily Remington & Mag-Tech rds. It seems like the Remington bullets have a smoother feel, with less kick back when shooting. What is your most economical 9 mm brand that you would recommend using with the Sub 2000 when target practicing, and do the number of grains per bullet have any significant impact other than cost?

A: Thanks for reashing out Scott! Bullet weight shouldn't impact your Kel-Tec's in any significant way – your own personal preference is most important to selecting the right bullet weight. We've got a lot of good options in stock for you at the moment. Since you're already accustomed to Remington and Magtech, you may prefer the pretty economical 115gr FMJ loads we have by those manufacturers in stock right now:

If you want to go even cheaper than that, then I'd recommend the Igman. It's made by in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it's pretty good stuff for its price point! I'd personally prefer the Remington UMC for your firearm, though.
