This case of 22 LR shotshells represents a serious investment in varmint control. Just make sure you don’t fire it in the wrong gun. This ammo is unsafe for firearms with ported barrels and/or compensators. It is also an atrocious choice for self-defense.

Are you gunning up to deal with a serious varmint infestation? CCI has you covered! This shell peppers its target with 31 grains of #12 lead shot. That’s 1/15 ounces of little lead balls – each 1/20” in diameter and weighing 0.183 grains. If you count the entire shot column as one unit, it possesses a combined 69 ft lbs of kinetic energy upon clearing the muzzle. That’s weak even for the 22, but you’re not using this ammo for shooting moose. You’re using it for roughing up small and delicate critters that should have known better than to squat in your outbuildings.

No crimped case mouths here. CCI contains the shot in a plastic dome (which looks like half of a blue gel capsule). It promotes much smoother feeding and extraction. Take care that this ammo’s not powerful to cycle a semi-auto, though. You’re going to have to cycle manually.
