You are a legendary squirrel hunter. Squirrels across the countryside refuse to so much as whisper your name, lest you might materialize out of the darkness to end their little squirrel lives. You need exactly three things to do your best work: a 22 LR rifle, a case of Aguila Supermaximum ammunition, and maybe a cookie or a brownie in case you get hungry during your hunt.

This cartridge is loaded with the squirrel killer’s best friend: the copper-plated hollow point, which actively reduces lead fouling to preserve a firearm’s accuracy and expands after connecting with its target. It is an extremely light bullet at 30 grains, but that only means its super-hot 1,700 fps muzzle velocity produces a flat-as-an-arrow trajectory. Its high muzzle velocity also indicates that this ammunition is potent enough to cycle a semi-automatic pistol or rifle.

Aguila is famous for the quality of their rimfire primers. No 22 LR cartridge is infallible owing to the inherently less reliable design of the rimfire primer, but Aguila is always a safe bet! The Mexican company’s brass and powder charges are equally high-quality, which is really too bad as far as squirrels are concerned.
