A: Thanks for reaching out Nick! Please don't order this ammo for your rifle. The reason that it's no good for a rifle isn't because it's too weak to cycle a semi-automatic; the issue is that it's so, SO weak that the bullet won't even make it out of a long barrel! You fire this round in your lever-action and it's going to have 20 grains of lead stuck in its barrel. Firing another round after that could destroy your rifle and possibly injure you.

A: Glad you asked! This ammo will not cycle any semi-auto, your Beretta 71 included. It's so weak that its bullet won't even make it through a rifle's longer barrel! I'd only recommend this ammo for revolvers.

According to Aguila, the Colibri is loaded to a muzzle velocity of 375 fps. This specific round contains no powder and is powered by the rimfire primer only.
