If varmints or predators are giving you grief, try Winchester Ballistic Silvertip ammo to turn the tables. These 22-250 Remington cartridges are designed to expand rapidly and kill coyotes, groundhogs, and other pests efficiently. They fire a polymer tipped bullet with a highly aerodynamic profile and a contoured jacket that breaks apart upon contact with the animal for a quick kill. In addition, these rounds use a Lubalox black oxide coating designed to minimize barrel fouling (and therefore cleaning time).

Each cartridge in this box of 20 fires a light 55 grain bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,680 feet per second. This high velocity helps ensure that the projectile fragments and expands more reliably; it also reduces the effect of crosswinds, especially at longer distances.

Founded in the 19th century, Winchester has supplied hunters for most of its existence and continues to provide cost-effective, accurate polymer-tipped and soft point ammunition for all types of game. Since 2011, Winchester ammo has been loaded in Oxford, Mississippi. It uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.
