The V-MAX is a bullet that needs no introduction. It’s Hornady’s most popular varmint bullet by a mile for a couple of key reasons. First, it’s accurate as all get out. The polymer tipped bolt of lightning cruises to 200 yards with 950 ft lbs of energy, and then drops by less than 5” once it reaches another hundred yards downrange. Second, it’s deadly as all get out, too. The V-MAX’s polymer tip builds up momentum before crashing into the base of its nose cavity. The resultant fast fragmentation won’t bring about very deep penetration, but it will lead to one extremely toasted varmint or predator.
Select reloadable brass cases. Carefully matched Boxer primers. The quality that can only come from an American manufacturer with several decades of experience under their belt. Buying this ammo is a no-brainer – just like any varmint you land a headshot on.
