A: Without question, Kim, this shell would be one of the worst things ever to happen to a home invader. I especially like #3 buck because it reduces the chance of overpenetration that could jeopardize an innocent bystander, and its smaller pellets' denser pattern puts more holes into the threat. I would recommend the Barnes ammo we currently have in stock over this one, though. It's of higher quality and therefore a little more reliable, and it's designed to minimize the recoil which would throw your aim off with every shot fired. You'll pay a little more, but the extra piece of mind is worth it in my book: luckygunner.com/20-gauge-2-3-4-17-pellets-3-buck-barnes-defense-buckshot-5-rounds

A: Yes sir! We can't ship to Rochester, Buffalo or the city. We can only ship to FFL dealers (aka licensed gun stores) where our customers can visit to pick up their ammo in person. But aside from that, we do ship ammo to New Yorkers! You can learn more about our service to New York here, as well as see the list of stores we ship to:

A: Hi Rex! To my knowledge there are no shotguns with 3" chambers that can't fire 2.75" shells. 2.75" is kind of the universal shotshell length. I don't believe all shotguns can cycle 3" or 3.5" shells, but that's kind of beside the point – you shouldn't have any problems if you order 2.75" long shells for your shotguns. But if you like, you can tell me which models you have and I'll be happy to tell you which shell lengths are compatible with their chambers. Just be sure that 20 Gauge and 12 Gauge are not interchangeable.

A: Thanks for reaching out, Scott! Gosh, that is a somewhat rare shotshell even in the best of times. To make matters more difficult for you, buckshot loads are probably the most demanded type of ammunition given the recent ... shall we call it "civil unrest?" I regret that we haven't got anything currently in stock that would suit you, although we are working hard to bring in new inventory every day. I hope you'll check in with us often. Outside of that, I wish I could give you better advice than to just keep searching "20 Gauge #3 Buck" until you find an online retailer who has it in stock. Best of luck in your search, sir!
