Are you tired of looking for a place to hang up targets? Make your own! Once you have this solid steel target stand by Target Barn, all you’ll need are a couple of a couple of 1”x2” furring strips (aka boards) from the hardware store and some targets!
This stand sits 18” wide, which is not coincidentally also a popular width for standard targets including IDPA, IPSC, NRA D-1 and AP-1-CB. There is no assembly required; simply place the furring strips (ideally around 48” long) into their sockets and tighten them in place with the included thumb bolts. Staple or tape your 18” wide target (or backer for smaller targets) to the furring strips and fire away!
This stand is a durable piece of hardware. It’s robotically welded 10 gauge steel, all one piece, and powder coated flat black so it can’t reflect sunlight back at you. It works just as well indoors as it does outside, and has holes in its frame’s corners for stakes or other fasteners. It’s not something you’d enjoy dropping on your bare foot, but at 7.5 lbs this stand not a pain to carry around.
