If you are a varmint hunter, then you’re sure to form a more favorable opinion of this fine American-made ammunition. It is loaded with heavy 20 grain bullets. They’re not immune to the effects of crosswinds, but they’re going to exhibit less drift than their 15.5 or 17 grain counterparts. The jacketed soft point still functions on the same principle when it is this small: improved weight retention thanks to its copper jacket, and fast terminal expansion (plus fragmentation) thanks to its unjacketed lead tip.
Remington tapers such tiny brass cases just right, and gives them the rims they need to chamber like a charm. This clean-shooting ammo is also a spot-on selection for target practice. Turn yourself into an even bigger problems for varmints than you already are!
Only a silly Billy would attempt to load 17 HMR ammunition in a 17 HM2 or 17 WSM firearm. In other words, this ammo is for 17 HMR firearms only!
